DEPRAVED DEMOCRAT

Rep. Charlie Rangel called US troops child killers on Fox last night. The class of '68 rears its very ugly head.

Iraq isn't Vietnam; this war isn't against pajama-wearing Viet Cong guerillas. It's against terror states that send killers to American soil to kill our citizens right in front of us. This war isn't Vietnam, but it's becoming clear just how much some people want it to be.

Wow, is that serious? Rangel has really gone off the deep end, recently. First the calls for the reinstatement of the draft, and now this. To be honest, I always kind of liked the guy. He always seemed wrong, but at least logical — which is a marked improvement over many of the jokes that now make up the Democratic side of the House.

But this is just inexcusable. Even if a bomb was gone off-target, there’s a world of difference between that and the purposeful bombing of civilians. Rangel has no excuse — and I think I have to re-evaluate my first opinions of the guy.

Rangel is on Sean Hannity’s show attempting to spin out of his remarks, claiming that if any women or children are killed by our bombing, that justifies his remarks. But his comment on Hannity & Colmes didn’t make any such distinction.
