I’ve been in “Israel Defense” mode all week on my blog. It’s amazing how people critical of Israel make such a shocking and morally equivalent comparison between Israel’s defense tactics and Palestinian homocide bombing. I was engaging in dialogue with a guy who had lived or visited severals parts of the Middle East. He mainly criticizes Israel’s racism and treatment of the Palestinians, but fails to mention the fact that while Arabs can function and serve in government in Israeli society, no Jew that I’m aware of are treated in similar regard in the surrounding Arab nations. Name me one Jew who serves in a government function of an Arab nation such as Jordan or Syria. The difference is striking, yet to the world the only racism that exists ceomes from Israel. Amazing.

Christians aren’t found in many government positions either. Then again, Democrats in the U.S. are essentially trying to ban Christians from being judges. It bugs them enough that we have Bush and Ashcroft.
