FAHRENHEIT 911

...is the name of Michael Moore's next agitprop documentary. Any guesses what it's about?

Earlier this year Michael Moore announced his intention to do a documentary about George W. Bush and his family's link to the bin Laden family. Now in a recent talk with the United Press International, he spoke out more about what his aims with the project are:

"The senior Bush kept his ties with the bin Laden family up until two months
after Sept. 11...It (the new project) certainly does deal with the Bush and bin Laden ties, it asks a number of questions that I don't have the answers to yet, but which I intend to find out".

A portion of the doco will deal with the business relationship between former president George Bush and the late Saudi construction magnate Mohammed bin Laden (Osama's father). However overall the main thrust of the film will be examining what has happened to the United States since the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.

The film's french [sic] distributors Wild Bunch (outputing through Miramax in the US) are trying to target a world premiere at Cannes but in regards to it's [sic] official release, its date will probably be November, 2004... election day!

More conspiracy bilge from the wacky, increasinly irrational left. But Miramax...isn't that a Disney outfit? Mickey Mouse teaming up with Michael Moore to drop a bomb on next year's elections? Has Disney become part of America Votes or something?

Oh boy! I can’t wait for the Miramax remake of that famous holiday picture, “It’s a Wonderful Jihad”.

Michael Moore should thank his lucky stars that conservatives were elected to the White House and Congress these past few years.

Take a look at the guy’s body of work on IMDB.com. With the (arguable) exclusion of Canadian Bacon, the guy hasn’t made an entertaining film in the past ten years.

What would he have to rant about, if someone like Al Gore or Hillary made it to the Big Chair?

Aren’t you going to argue against it’s integrity? Or just laugh it off as leftist prpaganda without analysis? Is any of what he says true?

I think that when Michael Moore puts his name to any story, he automatically reduces the chances of its being true. If he walked into my office and said “The sky is blue,” I’d stick my head out the nearest window and check. Seriously. The man is an incorrigible liar.

This Fahrenheit 9-11 business is just one more lefty smear of W and of the Bush family generally, and Disney should be shamed into pulling out of it. But money talks, doesn’t it, and there are enough wacked Bush-hating lefties out there to guarantee that Moore’s latest crapreel will make a few bucks. So Disney, via Miramax, will put their name on it. Mickey Mouse has just signed on for jihad.

To understand just how far our media corporations have fallen, there were (still are) wacky theories that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor beforehand. No reputable studio would have bankrolled a movie meant to “prove” that it was true. The studios all started churning out feel-good flicks and war movies, and Hollywood directors like Frank Capra started making documentaries that laid out the case in favor of war. Several Hollywood stars like Jimmy Stewart joined up and fought. Most of those that didn’t fight went on USO tours to entertain the troops around the world.

Today, Hollywood just continues to churn out relativistic claptrap, garbage, and now conspiracy bilge, while the media spins the war in the most relentlessly negative light possible.
