Booty Call Gone Bad
Lawdog lays out the sad, sad story of an early-morning romantic visit to a schoolteacher’s home that went badly awry.
H/T to Kim du Toit, who also has this nice article that is in part about the necessity of religion and religious principles to a civilized society—from an atheist’s point of view. I touched on that here; du Toit notes some of the externalities of a society losing its emphasis on religion:Where we have screwed up as a society, is in the lapse of both religious precept and manners—which results in ever-expanding laws to deal with all the exigencies which were once covered by religious and mannered proscription—and which is also why more lawyers graduate from college each year than the year before.
PS You’ll note that hat tip is longer than the actual post.
