LGF finds *almost* the vilest Digg thread ever, but I think "Christians into Plowshares" still wins
LGF links to what Charles calls "the most vile Digg thread ever", chock-full of Jew-hating and America bashing. Not quite sure when the American Left started getting their talking points beamed in from Larouche andStormfart Stormfront, but it's ugly stuff.
Maybe I'm biased (for a couple of reasons) but I would actually bestow that "most vile" title on this Digg thread, which refers to this post of mine, both of which are titled "Christians in North Korea Scalded With Molten Iron".
Some samples from the comments there--if you look for them on the page, you'll find that most of these egregious ones have been "Dugg Down", but they're there:
Wow. I didn't think there was any reason to like Kim Jong II.--
If Muslims were being scalded with molten iron, Christians wouldn't bat an eye-lid.---Deny it all you want.
As an atheist, I think it's sad that people value their beliefs over their lives. Refusing to deny the existence of heaven seems like such a dumb reason to die. I'm kind of hoping that I'm wrong right now so that the poor people didn't die for nothing.---
THIS IS SPAM---This is nothing more than a attempt to create martyrdom and gin up sympathy for the Right Wing Fanatics posing as Christians.
Kimmy J. does this to all of his opposition.
And the USA has used phosphorus to burn Muslims in Iraq.---What's the difference?
No difference, both US and NK are killing for political/personal belief. Here's my favorite, which adds a little pretentious sophsitry to the vileness:
Japan violently supressed Christianity at its inception in that country, and is now a country largely free from its pernicious influence. Compare with the United States, where religion dominates the polity, and constantly strives to supress all inconsistent knowledge. Contrast, then, Japanese and American attitudes towards such things as stem cell research, availability of abortion, evolution, and so on.---I know which is the more liberal society, the one where I would prefer to live, and which policy towards Christianity was ultimately the better.
Who would of thought... There is some good in you yet father (kim jung il). I know there is. Too bad there are sooooo many f***ing christians.---
Finally!! Someone handles the spread of hate, misinformation, racism, ignorance, genocide and out right lies properly!---
Christians into Plowshares---
we need something like this in america. North Korea knows how to clean up the cancer of society, and we should learn too.---
This is cruel but is absolutely a means to an end... hopefully they will realize what they believe is just a falsehood and stop the suffering. There are many more, but I think I'm going to stop cutting and pasting, and go buy a gun.
