Zarqawi follower jumps bail in Britain

Prairie Pundit ( via PJM) notes that an Iraqi Al Qaeda recruiter didn't really feel like sticking around for his trial and waltzed right out the door--of his house, where he was confined on house arrest. Whoa! Did not see that one coming.

Oh, no worries--he was wearing an electronic monitoring device, so everything ought to be fine. But maybe it's malfunctioning, or he took it off, because rather than zeroing in on the guy, there is apparently a huge manhunt combing England for him.

Rather than release his name or picture so people could report him, however, the police are keeping it a tightly guarded secret. Smooth move #3!
